About me

My name is Ilaria Emiliani

I deal with Personal Growth paths that combine Jungian Art Therapy, Imaginal Mindfulness and YogaSOMATICS, to facilitate a process of awareness and inner transformation.

My academic training is based on an in-depth study of depth psychology, with a focus on the study of symbols and the theory of Carl Gustav Jung. With experience, however, I realised that a purely mental approach, although powerful, is not sufficient for complete transformation and I felt the need to make more and more room for disciplines that allow for the integration of other dimensions of the human being, such as body and spirit.

This awareness led me to explore practices such as Yoga Somatic, Imaginal Mindfulness, Meditation and Transformative Art.

This multi-disciplinary approach has shaped the path of "personal blossoming" that I propose, a native term that refers to the wonderful process of becoming who we really are by tapping into our inner resources.

It is a holistic methodology that integrates dream work, artistic expression techniques, meditation and ancestral wisdom, allowing one to explore and transform the depths of one's psyche. It is an inner journey that promotes alignment between body, mind and spirit, fostering authentic and sustainable personal growth.

Through the use of symbols, dream language, connecting with the body and healing inherited dynamics, I help people develop greater self-awareness, rediscover their most authentic essence and reconnect with their roots and inner wisdom.

TOOLS

Art Therapy

Graduated in Psychology and specialized in Jungian Analytical Psychotherapy, I have devoted years to the study of symbols, dreams, and archetypes as keys to inner transformation.

The encounter with Art Therapy has been a natural evolution of my path — a kind of “conversion” that has given body and color to imaginal research, integrating the work with the unconscious through the creative act.

Today, I combine the symbolic Jungian approach with the power of image and artistic processes, offering workshops, individual sessions, and trainings for those who wish to explore their inner life through art, dream, and embodied imagination.

Imaginal Mindfulness

The mindfulness I embrace is not a practice of mental control or emotional detachment, but a way of dwelling poetically within experience. It is a radical attentiveness to the present moment — an open, contemplative awareness that welcomes images, sensations, and thoughts as living presences, not to be judged or corrected but simply witnessed.

In dialogue with the vision of James Hillman, this form of mindfulness opens toward the anima mundi — the soul of the world — recognizing that what arises in the mind, whether a dream, a color, a gesture, or a memory, possesses its own imaginal autonomy. Meditation thus becomes both an aesthetic and psychological act: a way of being touched by inner images and by the forms of the world, allowing the soul to think through us.

Yoga SOMATICS

The Yoga SOMATICS approach offers a profound experience in which Yoga Practices, Meditation, Mindfulness and Sound Healing are interwoven. The aim is to foster authentic contact with the body and help 'reset' the nervous system, freeing it from harmful conditioning and habits that hinder our inner growth.

Through mindful movements, deep breathing and healing sounds, the can create a safe space to explore your body intuitively, letting go of tensions and blockages. The practice helps to relax the nervous system, fostering a greater sense of well-being and connection with oneself.
